Boehringer Ingelheim organizes two SRB diagnostic workshops in León as part of the Bovalto Days

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of León was the chosen venue by Boehringer Ingelheim to hold the Bovalto Days. There, the company organized two consecutive workshops (the first on May 15 and 16, the second on May 16 and 17) on laboratory diagnostic methods for SRB and necropsy techniques.

With a first practical session in the necropsy room and a second theoretical session, the workshops featured three speakers: Valentín Pérez, Professor of Pathological Anatomy at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of León; Víctor Fernández, from Zootecnia Análisis Clínicos Veterinarios; and Alfonso Martínez, veterinary technical advisor for Ruminants at Boehringer Ingelheim.

The workshops, which brought together a small group of veterinarians from different parts of the country in each of their sessions, addressed topics such as anatomical pathological diagnosis, sample collection, diagnostic capability as a differentiating factor for veterinarians, the role of the laboratory, and the anatomical pathological diagnosis of lesions caused by SRB.
