Seragro announces the dates for its XXII Technical Conferences

On the days 13 and 14 of November, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Lugo will bring together more than 700 professionals from the dairy cattle sector in a training meeting where aspects such as new environmental regulations will be addressed, calf rearing care, precision agriculture, and farm management experiences.

The Auditorium of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Lugo will once again be, on the upcoming November 13 and 14, the meeting point for the Galician dairy sector with the celebration of the XXII Dairy Cattle Technical Conference, organized by Seragro SCG. As every year, an attendance of around 700 people per day is expected, including farmers, technical staff, and professionals linked to dairy cattle.

Seragro SCG, a leading cooperative in the provision of technical services to livestock farms throughout Galicia —with a strong presence in the province of Lugo—, reaffirms with these sessions its commitment to continuous training and knowledge updating in the sector.

This year’s edition will focus its presentations on current issues such as the rearing as the basis of the future productive cow, the new regulations environmental (carbon footprint, BATs, use of nitrates, field notebook) or the application of precision agriculture to forage crops.

Other highlighted topics will be hoof care, artificial intelligence applied to farm management, lactation curves, or staff management in large farms, in addition to fiscal aspects of interest. The program will run from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with presentations by national and international experts, and will also feature a specific space for the farmer meeting, conceived as a moment of reflection, dialogue, and interaction among attendees.
